The governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Barr. Peter Mbah praised the Holy Childhood Association today during his arrival at the airport .
He congratulated the Director of the Pontifical mission Societies of the Holy Childhood Association, Enugu Diocese, Rev. Fr. Engr. Francis Agu for his good work in catching the children young, which is evident in his wise decision to take these children on Excursion to the Musuem, Shoprite, and Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu today to mark the children’s day celebration. The event happened concurrently with the arrival of the Governor at the airport.
As soon as he disembarked from the aircraft, he moved straight to the children of the HCA, and FAAN and started giving them lectures on the need for education, and moral etiquette. At the end of the lectures, and admonition, he offered the two groups gift as a sort of encouragement.
In appreciation, Fr. Francis Agu thanked the governor on behalf of the two groups of children (HCA, and FAAN) and promised to make use of his lectures to train, and direct the children as the future leaders of tomorrow.
